Triaging, referral and follow-up

This workflow is the most complex, integrating both primary care and dermatology, with detailed pathways for managing suspected malignancy and referrals. It includes steps for handling cases across multiple care levels and systems and focuses on ensuring that patients with more serious conditions receive the appropriate care and follow-up.

The primary care provider documents the case in Legit.Health. After the consultation, the results of the algorithm are reviewed, and a decision is made on whether a referral to dermatology is required. If a referral is needed, the process splits based on the suspected likelihood of malignancy.

The workflow includes steps for scheduling dermatology appointments, notifying the patient, and managing the case through dermatology, including creating reports and informing the patient via Legit.Health.

Finally, the patient attends the dermatology appointment, and the dermatologist confirms the diagnosis, creates reports, and marks the case as reviewed. The patient is informed and receives reports via the Legit.Health app.
