Scoring systems by condition

Work in progress

This section is a work in progress.

Summary

As you know, conditions may have some questionnaires associated. Usually, these questionnaires are simply the scoring system that measures the severity of than condition. For example, to measure the severity of atopic dermatitis, doctors use the SCORAD scoring system.

ICD classes can be grouped in relation to what scoring systems are applicable to them. For example, the group Dermatitis in non-specific site contains many ICD classes, such as Atopic dermatitis, Contact irritant dermatitis, Dermatitis herpetiformis, Contact dermatitis and many more. For all of them, the appropiate scoring system is the SCORAD.

Important

The condition groups with severity scoring are the ones that appear in the iframe. Most of them are automatically calculated from the image uploaded, but some times, they may require one or two inputs from the user.

Condition groups with other scoring

The following scoring systems do not appear in the iframe because they are not measuring the clinical severity, but other aspects of the disease, such as quality of life. These are not usually used in clinical practice, and are too long to include in the image upload process.

These scoring systems may, however, be used through an API call directly to the device, outside of the iframe integration. An organisation may decide to do so in very specific cases, such as conducting clinical trials.
